Of course in a book of this size the vast amount of instructioncontainedinPaul'sepistlescouldbe considered only in part. Some of these are not referredto, othersarepassedby witha simplemention,and none ofthem arefullycanvassed. Enough of them are mentioned,however ,to enable the reader to enter into the spiritwhich actuated the great apostle. And if the perusalofthisvolumeshallleadthereadertolayhold upon the hope which sustainedPaul in his laborsand trials,and shallhelp him tofightthe good fightoffaith, the objectofitspublicationwillbe accomplished.
